A short ferry boat ride along the south shore of Grand Bahama Island will take you to Sanctuary Bay, home of The Dolphin Experience, operated by UNEXSO (the Underwater Explorer's Society), and a pod of atlantic bottlenose dolphins. Once at the facility you can observe the friendly dolphins up close and personal. Sit with your feet in the water as the dolphins swim around you, or step into shallow water and touch these amazing animals, take photographs from our observation deck, hear interesting facts about the dolphins and ask questions of our animal care staff. While being given the opportunity to actually touch dolphins in waist-deep water, you can also engage in discussions with our marine mammal specialists here at The Dolphin Experience. This highly educational and fun program is a great way to have an experience the animals 'up close and personal'. The Close Encounter program is a two hour interaction excursion with boats leaving UNEXSO in the Port Lucaya area at 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. daily. The cost is $75.00 per person children four and under are admitted free of charge. 	Swim With The Dolphins
	enjoy an intimate encounter with dolphins! A fast ferry will take you to swim with the dolphins within the protected waters of Sanctuary Bay, where the informative staff will guide the dolphins through a perfect mix of trained behaviors and just relaxed swimming. This is truly an up close experience with animals. You must be at least 12 years old, and if you are under 16 years old, you must be accompanied by a participating adult. The minimum height requirement for this adventure is 55 inches (4 ft. 7 in.). We regret that, for safety reasons, pregnant women cannot participate in this experience. Priced at only $169.00
	Snorkel With The Dolphins
	dive in the open ocean with the dolphins! An exclusive opportunity for skilled snorkelers to freedive in the open ocean with the dolphins. Our ferry will take you to the crystal clear waters of the shallow reefs where a pair or more of dolphins will greet you. Immerse yourself in the mesmerizing world of these magnificent marine mammals, with a dolphin behaviorist as your guide. For experienced snorkelers only. The minimum age is 12 years old, those under 16 must be accompanied by their participating parent or guardian. This adventure is not recommended for pregnant women. The cost is $199.00 per person.
	Become A Dolphin Trainer For A Day
	This is an extraordinary experience for all those who have dreamed of working with dolphins! Team up with the UNEXSO staff for a day of dolphin care and training. You'll participate in everything from dolphin food preparation to swimming with them and teaching them tricks. This is truly a rare and special opportunity. You must be at least 16 years old and, for your own safety, you must be able to speak english clearly. This package is priced at just $359.00
